A.2试验步骤

A.2.8跳桌法操作方法

A.2.9自流法操作方法

A.3计算

  自流值=(D1+D2+D3+D4)/4……………….(A.1)

Test method for free flow value of free flow refractory castable

A.1 Instruments and Equipment

A.1.1 Conical die: upper diameter 70mm, lower diameter 100mm, height 60mm.

A.1.2 Calipers: Standard calipers with an accuracy of 0.1mm.

A.1.3 Fluidity tester :NLD-2 cement mortar fluidity tester.

A.1.4 Agitator: The agitating equipment for castables shall comply with the provisions of YB/T 5202.1.

A.1.5 Stopwatch/timer: Accuracy 1s.

A.1.6 Measuring cylinder: accurate to 1mL.

A.2 Test Procedures

A.2.1 Test conditions shall comply with the provisions of this Standard, unless otherwise specified by the castable manufacturer.

A.2.2 The room temperature and water temperature should be controlled at 15℃~25℃, and the material temperature and air temperature should be balanced.

A.2.3 Ensure that the equipment used is clean and dry. Keep the flow plate level and remove any debris from the surface.

A.2.4 Measure the added water accurately to ±1mL

A.2.5 Dry mix castable for 30 seconds.

A.2.6 Turn on the stopwatch/timer and add water within 10s during the running of the mixer. Be careful not to scatter any water or dry material. After 1min of wet mixing, stop the mixer, check whether there is any unwet material in the bottom of the pan, stir by hand if necessary, and turn the mixer on again. All mixing is done at low speed. The total stirring time after adding water is 5min.

A.2.7 The measurement of the artesian flow value should be carried out within 1min after stirring. Place the cone mold in the middle of the flow plate with the end of the mold facing down. Pour the sample into the mold while gently mixing it with a spatula, without vibrating the mold. Fill the mold so that it is flush with the top edge of the mold. If the sample spills onto the tray, the tray should be wiped dry.

A.2.8 Operation method of jumping table

A.2.8.1 Carefully lift the mold, do not rotate or tilt the mold. At the moment when the mold is separated from the castable, the flow meter switch is turned on immediately for detection. At the same time as testing, use your fingers to wipe away the castables adhering to the mold and gently return them to the sample. When touching samples with hands, rubber or latex gloves should be worn in order not to adhere the material to the hands to reduce particle loss.

A.2.8.2 When the flow meter beats for 15 times, quickly turn off the switch and quickly measure the flow value.

A.2.9 Operation Method of artesian flow Method

A.2.9.1 Carefully lift the mold, do not rotate or tilt the mold. At the same time as testing, use your fingers to wipe away the castables adhering to the mold and gently return them to the sample. When touching the sample with the hand, in order not to make the material adhere to the hand to reduce particle loss, rubber or latex gloves should be worn.

A.2.9.2 The flow value of the sample should be measured quickly after 60 seconds.

A.2.10 The diameter of the sample is measured at four corresponding points spaced approximately 45° apart. If the part of the diameter of the test sample is locally irregular, it may be measured at A more representative nearby area. Record 4 measurements accurate to 1mm.

A.3 Calculation

The artesian value is calculated according to equation (A.1) :

  Artesian value =(D1+D2+D3+D4)/4………………. (A.1)

  Formula:

D1, D2, D3, and D4 — the first, second, third, and fourth diameters measured in millimetres (mm), respectively
